Marion K. Raper

Savannah-Marion K. Raper, 77, died Friday, October 16, 2009 at Hospice Savannah.
She was born in Dunoon, Scotland and lived in Savannah since 1996. Her daughter Karen Ened Leach preceded her in death.
She is survived by her husband of 43 years, Larry Raper of Savannah; daughter, Fiona Burkey of Columbus, Ohio and sister, Ann Carmichael of Dunoon, Scotland.
Memorial Service: 7:00 p.m., Friday, October 23, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Islands Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Marion and I worked well together. I loved her so much. She always was very good to me. Neither of us let our work get to us.
